Apacer''s Combo ATA-Flash Drive (CAFD) is an innovation in the SSD market. CAFD uses two kinds of NAND flash at the same time within a device - the more reliable solution SLC (Single Level Cell) chip and the more cost-effective solution MLC (Multi Level Cell) chip. This provides higher performance, better flexibility and solid designed to replace a conventional IDE hard disk drive.
CAFD SSD support standard ATA/IDE protocol and can be plugged into a standard IDE connector commonly found in desktop or portable PC systems. It is driverless and more rugged, reliable and power-efficient compared to the mechanical hard drive and is designed for use in rugged laptops, servers, networking, military devices, portable devices, thin clients, telecom, medical instruments, surveillance systems and industrial PCs.
Apacer CAFD SSD is the best drop-in replacement for high-maintenance HDD or multi-applications environment where the reliability and capability/price rate are primary concerns.
*The actual available memory on the device is less than what is listed on the package. This is due to small discrepancies in file formats and algorithms used by various operating systems. In addition, a portion of memory space is reserved for system files and data sectors for better performance. |
