ADCs have a built-in micro-controller and file management firmware which is packaged in a 600 mil 32-pin DIP package for easy and cost effective mounting to a system motherboard. This product is designed for embedded flash storage applications with expanded functionality and is a cost effective replacement for a conventional IDE hard disk drive.

*The actual available memory on the device is less than what is listed on the package. This is due to small discrepancies in file formats and algorithms used by various operating systems. In addition, a portion of memory space is reserved for system files and data sectors for better performance. |
